Elvis in the 60's

PETE

Reflecting on my earlier post about the Kooples. This chick, Sophie, has the best look I’ve seen for their ads.

They have some new inspiration around however…None other than, Pete Doherty.

PIERRE BALMAIN PRE FALL 2012

I’m crazy about this collection’s structured business-casual looks.  The tailored pants look smart with a feminine silhouette.

Balmain has always been one of my faves.  I love how they use sheer with leather, sharpening them up with some masculine traditionals.  J’adore.

ACNE PRE-FALL 2012

I also pulled this from Elin’s sight.  Thank God for Elin.  She’s always been my go-to girl when I’m looking for something to motivate.

AND WE’RE BACK…

I haven’t blogged in the longest time.

Anyways, I’m back to trying to pull inspiration together again.  This was Elin’s inspiration for the day.  Back to basics folks.  All I want in my life is some simplicity, focus, and clarity.

DINARA CHETYROVA

DINARA CHETYROVA.  This girl has such an awesome look.  She’s been on runways for Mackage, Christian Siriano, and Alice + Olivia recently, but I can definitely see her taking on more.  She has a unique and elusive look that can be both smoldering and peaceful.  Not to mention she has great style, too.

IN LOVE

CAROLINE… I’m so in love with this leather-mesh inspired skirt.  The way she styled this look is perfection.  Simple edgy skirt, casual tee, and sexy bed head looks unbelievable girlfriend!

A VIEW

Good Morning!  This is my view from my room.  Not sure why it came out so blurry… Maybe still too tired from all the mayhem from this weekend.  Renovations are still under way, and decorating ideas will never stop.

WEEKEND

This weekend I had a lot of fun shopping and chillin with my homies.  The top are shoes from TOPSHOP that I thought looked cute.  Low heeled booties with a slither of gold on the bottom.  The next is my shopping outfit in Soho with some friends from out of town.  We ended the night with drinks at Pegu Club.

The last is a photo of me (far left) with some of the best girlfriends around.

COUPLE OF THINGS

There are a couple of things on my mind right now.  Number 1, some place warm because this city is freezing already!  And second, something pretty… I found these two lovelies on STYLE.COM’s most wanted list for Spring.  I love the edgy cuffs on both of these items.  They’re interesting details like the lock around your ankles on the stilettos and the leather wrap around your wrist on the clutch.

I’m predicting a hint of dusty rose or a light, feminine pink with be the IT accent piece for Spring.

HER HAIR

Her hair is awesome.  Why can’t my short hair look like that?  I’m just saying…

STYLE.COM MAGAZINE

Did you buy the new Style.com Magazine?  I love this sort of retro look on this model.  And her awesome over-the-knee ISABEL MARANT boots with fringe on the sides.  I’ll try to find a better photo.

But I love her hair!  Maybe I’m just missing my longer locks…

LAST NIGHT

LAST NIGHT I went to a private screening of BREAKING DAWN Part I with my record label family.  We had the whole theater to ourselves, eating and drinking…  I have to admit I’m a fan of Kristen Stewart’s style.  Check out behind the scenes from her February cover photo shoot on VOGUE.  And check out the movie open to the public tomorrow!

SASKIA & ALAIA

Check out this beautySASKIA DE BRAUW & AZZEDINE ALAïA teamed up for a stunning editorial in Style.com’s debut magazine out this month.  According to Style.com, this model is “leading the pack at an age, 30, when many models are hanging up their stilettos.”

I absolutely love her look, both feminine and strong. This is a success story that’s just getting started.  Can’t wait to see her more…
